Slotted Wooden Base - Birch Plywood. These easy-to-use bases offer a strong, sturdy weighted bottom to your basket.
You'll need to sand your base slot and the base itself for a better look and feel. Start with 120 grit sandpaper. Finish the base with 220 grit sandpaper before applying the finish of your choice. Once the finish is dry the base will be ready to use. A good finish will protect the base as you weave and offer years of service for your basket.
