--All pine needles, regardless of how clean they appear, must be washed before using.

--A few drops of mild soap and a tablespoon of chlorine, in water deep enough to cover,will sanitize, kill insect eggs & mold spores.

--Swish quickly.....NEVER SOAK! Drain andrinse twice.

--Dry thoroughly if being cleaned for future use.
