Rent this mold to create a lovely Sconset basket (rental period is one month and you must provide a credit card number in order to rent a mold). The Sconset Basket, named for the village of rose-covered cottages nestled at Nantucket's east end, is the inspiration for this unusually delicate oval design by Martha Lawrence. This narrow, tall basket creates a striking impression and stands beautifully on its own or as part of a nesting set. If you have never made an oval Nantucket basket, we recommend that you follow the construction techniques found in The Nantucket Lightship Basket Purse Instruction Book. These are the best instructions available for creating oval baskets. Size: 5" length, 3" width, 4 1/2" height. Rim mold included; bottom plates sold separately.
