Hickory Bark, a traditional chair seating material, is beautiful and long-lasting.

35 yard bundle is enough to seat one average-size (approx. 15 inches x 13 inches) ladder-back style chair. Width of bark ranges from 5/8 to 3/4 inch wide. 

Soak bark in hot water (usually about 10 minutes) until it is limber. Do not oversoak--just soak until you can bend the bark back double. Truly beautiful material.
