"'This basket starts with a simple 2/2 twill base that has alternating dyed and natural spokes. Once you begin weaving the sides, the possibilities for design can be endless. Sides are woven in a continuous twill; the pattern is dependent on how the weaving begins and the color of weaver you choose. The inspiration for this basket was a photo of a fish basket from Thailand in Jack Lenor Larson's book, Interlacing. Basket is completed with half-round rims and a waxed linen lashing." -- Dianne Stanton. Basket measures: 15" at greatest diameter and is 13" deep.
