Pralines and Cream Basket Pattern

This basket is beautifully characteristic of its creator Tika Tucker of Ellenboro, NC. Completed basket measures 15" x 12 1/2" x 6" high. An intermediate project beginning with rows of #00 on flat oval stakes around a 5 x 8 oval wooden base. Stakes and weavers are flat oval from both natural and dyed material. Rims are made of half round, filled with #6 round, and lashed with waxed linen.
