Shoulder Bag Square Work Basket Pattern

This sturdy shoulder bag is made using English squarework techniques with the base and lid woven on a screwblock.The sides are randed using both round and flat reed. Three-rod arrows separate the different bands of weaving. Leather hinges attach the lid to the basket, and the closure is a leather thong around a Turk's Head knot.
