3/4 Bushel Field Basket Pattern

Author Dianne Stanton describes her 3/4 Bushel Yankee Field Basket Pattern, "I've always enjoyed making spoke-bottom, or "apple" baskets.  You'll find this one easy to weave and large enough for lots of storage -- the mittens and hats, kindling or laundry. The ideal weaver for the sides is a heavy (thick) 7mm.  You can carve your own handles or use purchased ones as I have.  I've also included my recipe for tea dye, a clear natural color available at any grocery store."  Size:  10" deep and 17" in diameter.
