Farewell Virginia - PATTERN SHEET

This Farewell Virginia Pattern is a comprehensive guide to building a generously-sized basket with a wooden base and two handcrafted white oak swing handles made in our shop in Allen County, Kentucky.

It was created to celebrate Virginia Siegel and her dedication to Kentucky's Folklife Program!

Standing  13" tall, the basket is constructed with reed materials, natural and dyed, upon a wooden base.  Pattern includes 12 how-to photos and two diagrams.

With this pattern you can create a strong basket that's perfect for carrying loads of materials and treasures.  Finished size:  10" x 14" x 13" tall.  Kit (Item 7514) also available.
