Basket Teachers -- Save Time! How many times have you scratched-out your next basket class supply list on the back of an envelope or scrap paper? Well..you won't have to do that again. Now you can have an accurate and easy-to-read supply list for your next basket class.
Each Basket Supply List has Three Sections. (Each section contains information to help you make an informed decision about your basket supplies.)
Recommended Supply List Section: The Recommended Supply List gives you the least expensive way to purchase the supplies needed for your quantity of baskets. This is the section you will use most often. The other two sections provide the same information but in more detail.
Total Feet Section: The Total Feet Section lists the total feet or total units needed for your quantity of baskets. This is the raw data with no conversion. This information is sometimes helpful when you want to see exactly how much you need.
Total Pound Section: The Total Pound Section lists the total pounds or units needed for your quantity of baskets. The pounds are rounded 'UP' to the next pound to assure you have enough supplies.
For Example: Your basket or baskets need 40 feet of 1" Flat Reed. Looking at the Total Feet section of the supply list you see that 40 feet of 1" Flat Reed costs $14.00 (at $.35 per foot). Now looking at the Total Pound section of the supply list you see that 1 pound contains 70 feet and only costs $9.95. The Basket Supply Calculator decides that the pound price is the least expensive and puts that information in The Recommended Supply list. This list shows you need 1 pound of 1" flat reed at a cost of $9.95, saving you $4.05 over the foot price. Saving like this could add-up fast, especially when you order 5 or more baskets! |
