• Measure the width and length of your chair seat from groove to groove.
• Add 4" to these measurements.
• Divide the above numbers by 12 to get the total feet.
• Determine if you need 18" (1.5 ft) wide or 24" (2 ft) wide cane webbing.
• The cane webbing is sold by the running foot. So order the quantity of feet needed for your chair seat.

Example:

• The chair to the left is 12" wide and 16" long.
• Adding 4" gives us 16" wide and 20" long.
• Now divide by 12 and that gives us 1.34 ft wide and 1.67 ft long.
• Answer: We would need 2 ft of 18" (1.5 ft) wide cane webbing.
