Join us for a fun day! Immerse yourself in weaving and create an easy-to-make bread basket using natural and smoked reed materials. The basket’s simplicity is accentuated by using 3 narrow weavers for braiding (see photo above) or three rows of plain weave. In this workshop students will learn the basics of plaiting, shaping, braiding, and creating perfect rims.
Students have the option of creating a Bread Basket that's 8” x 8” x 5” deep or a smaller 7” x 7” x 3” deep Basket.
For all levels. Lunch is included.
