Description: Join us at Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library in Glasgow, Kentucky for a fun day of weaving. The Wine Basket is the fourth in our 2019 series of basket workshops. In this easy-to-make basket workshop, students will learn techniques for shaping, building a divider inside their basket and creating perfect rims. You’ll enjoy the process of making the Wine Carrier using an oak ‘D’ Handle with natural & dyed reed materials. It’s the perfect basket for carrying a bottle of wine and some goodies along on a picnic or outing! The basket measures 5” wide x 11” long and stands 14” tall, including the handle. Register today — class size is limited!

Fee includes: Materials, pattern sheet, materials preparation, use of tools, instruction fee. If someone signs up and is unable to attend, you may pick up your kit (materials and pattern) at the Library at your convenience.
