The Lidded Feather Basket is a great beginner to intermediate level project. It’s a simple plain weave basket with the addition of a spoke construction lid. A basket that’s perfect for holding your sewing projects or even packing a picnic lunch. In this workshop you’ll learn techniques of plain weave, spoke construction, twining and two styles of lashing. (The Feather Basket pattern can also be found in The Basket Book by Lyn Siler.) Including the handle, the basket stands 15” tall and it’s 10” in diameter; made from rattan material with a sturdy ash handle.
