With the Farewell Virginia Kit you'll make a generously-sized basket with a wooden base and two handcrafted white oak swing handles. It's a perfect project for confident beginners and intermediate-level weavers.
Created to celebrate Virginia Siegel and her dedication to Kentucky's Folklife Program, this basket stands 13" tall; you'll construct it with reed materials, natural and dyed, upon a wooden base.
Your kit includes a great pattern with 12 how-to photos and two diagrams. This basket looks incredible made with many different color combinations; for your kit, we have selected dyed reed in Jewel Tones (blue, rose, burgundy, forest green).
