We recommend carefully sanding the edges and surfaces of your hoops and handles with 100 then 220 grit sandpaper to make the edges smoother and to enhance the beauty of the wood.
100 grit sandpaper is medium to fine and is used for sanding bare wood in preparation for finishing.
220 grit sandpaper is very fine and is a good choice to make the wood very smooth after using 100 grit. 220 grit is also used for sanding between coats of finish.
